We are committed to continuing to make a positive contribution to the social and economic welfare of the community in a sustainable manner. We seek to create a balance on the triple bottom line, which consists of people (society), planet (environment), and profit (benefits). One form of this commitment is realized through the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs which are held every year. The legal basis for its implementation includes:
• Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 38 of 2014 concerning Implementation of the Mineral and Coal Mining Safety Management System;
• Government Regulation No. 47 of 2012 concerning Social and Environmental Responsibility of Limited Liability Companies;
• Indonesian Law no. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies;
• Indonesian Law no. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower;
• Indonesian Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection; as well as
• Indonesian Law no. 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety.
The implementation of our CSR program is focused on the pillars of infrastructure development, improving the quality of health and education, religious support, economic independence, and other social fields.
We have provided a means of managing complaints from the public, whether related to the implementation of PPM or other complaints. Each report received will be followed up through the HSE and CSR Departments which will conduct an investigation and verify the truth of each complaint report. Throughout 2022, there were no reports from the public received by the Company.
