Rajawali Group Coal Issuer SMMT Distributes Interim Dividend of IDR116.6 Billion

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Rajawali Group coal issuer owned by conglomerate Peter Sondakh, PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (SMMT) announced that it will distribute interim dividends for the fiscal year 2023 amounting to IDR 116.6 billion or IDR 37 per share.

In the disclosure of information from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), SMMT management said the SMMT board of directors and board of commissioners meeting on October 5, 2023 decided and approved the distribution of interim cash dividends for the fiscal year 2023 amounting to Rp116.55 billion or Rp37 per share to shareholders.

If calculated, the interim dividend yield from SMMT is 2.96 percent, based on the share price of Rp1,250 at the close of trading on Monday (9/10/2023).

SMMT’s cum dividend schedule in the regular and negotiation markets is on October 17, 2023, with ex dividends in the regular and negotiation markets on October 18, 2023.

Then shareholders who are entitled to interim dividends on October 19, 2023. Cum dividends in the cash market on October 19, 2023, with ex interim dividends in the cash market on October 20, 2023.

“The interim dividend payment date is October 24, 2023,” management wrote, quoted on Tuesday (10/10/2023).

For information, SMMT’s net profit in the first semester of 2020 was IDR162.22 billion. The dividend distribution is equivalent to 71.84 percent of SMMT’s net profit in the first semester of 2020.

That semester, SMMT’s net sales until the first half of 2023 amounted to IDR 491.5 billion. This sales increased by 3.55 percent on an annualized basis from IDR 479.69 billion.
