Golden Eagle Energy Optimistic Sales of Domestic Coal Increase
KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Golden Eagle Energy Tbk Company (SMMT) is optimistic that domestic coal sales will increase this year.
President Director of Golden Eagle Energy Tbk Company Roza Permana Putra said the demand for coal for the domestic market is estimated to reach 120 million tons this year. “Around 75 percent is a requirement for power plants as the power plants begin to operate,” he said Wednesday (27/6).
As for the market, Roza said there is still no plan to market to new countries. “We are still consistent with existing markets today, some in Asian and domestic markets,” Roza said.
Currently SMMT has a total concession area of 8,526 hectares (ha), with a total of 724 million tons of resources, and a total reserve of 373 million tons, of which Triaryani’s Company subsidiaries have 406 million tons of resources and 257 million tons of reserves.
International Prima Coal Company has 7.2 tons of reserves with 26 million tons of resources, and for Tabalong Project with 292 million tons of resources and 109 million tons of reserves.
Currently the company is working to add more coal reserves.
In the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on Wednesday (27/6), Golden Eagle Energy Tbk Company (SMMT) shareholders agreed to appoint Raphael Kodrata as Director of SMMT.
